A Great Base for the Ryder Cup 2027

Planning a trip to Ireland for the Ryder Cup? Make the Fitzwilton Hotel in Waterford your base. With Waterford connected to the official Ryder Cup rail and transport network, guests can travel towards Adare Manor using public transport, while enjoying a comfortable stay in the heart of Waterford city.

There are two options available:

1. Train – probably the most convenient option
Walk from the Fitzwilton Hotel to Waterford train station.
Take the train from Waterford to Limerick Junction – approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
Change at Limerick Junction for the dedicated Ryder Cup shuttle train to a temporary station at Adare Manor – approximately 45 minutes.
From the temporary station, it is a short walk to the event entrance.

2. Bus – an alternative option
Walk from the Fitzwilton to Waterford Bus Station.
Take an Expressway bus to Limerick Colbert Station – approximately 2 hours 25 minutes.
Transfer to the dedicated Ryder Cup shuttle bus to the event – approximately 35–40 minutes.
