Established 1912 Attractive parkland course designed by James Braid, which is renowned for the quality of the greens and friendly atmosphere. The first nine demands accuracy from the tee. The back nine is more forgiving and features a great closing stretch with a classic finishing hole. Here the drive is struck from an elevated tee with an all-round view to a narrow fairway which winds its way downhill, between score-threatening gorse, to a receptive green 400 yards away.

Established 1993 The course is set in an idyllic surroundings overlooking the village of Dunmore east and offers panoramic views of the bay and hook peninsula. The first nine holes were opened in June 1993 and a further nine holes are due for completion in 1994 to make an eighteen-hole, 6236 yard, par 72 course, which promises to offer idyllic surroundings, sea air and stimulating, challenging golf for both the high and low handicapper. Designed by Des Smyth and Associates, the course offers a unique experience to any discerning golfer. Ireland's only true island course and yet within two miles of Waterford city centre, it was laid out on 250 acres of lush parkland and incorporates four artificial lakes which fit well into the wooded landscape. The course is a fine test of golf, requiring accuracy and length; the superb sand-based and well-bunkered greens provide an excellent all-year round challenge. A visit to Waterford Castle is recommended for golf in really pleasant surroundings.

18 holes parkland course (6,700 yards) only minutes from Waterford City Centre. The course designed by Eddie Hackett is open to all visitors on a pay and play basis. A time sheet system for booking operates and tee times can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Payment of one green fee for mid-week and two green fees for weekend/Bank Holiday bookings must be made at least two days prior to play, otherwise tee time cannot be guaranteed.
